A work day with a difference...

Yesterday, Thursday, was a great day... I was asked to do a class for some of Mum's senior dance girls.  They were interested in the show we did on the Earthquake.  I played them the DVD and explained a little bit about what happened and is still happening to Christchurch.  It was really nice to see the school where Mum works, it is a very impressive complex with its own theater attached.  I had 15 girls plus Alina who joined in too.  They all worked ever so hard. I taught them half of the earthquake dance and half of City of ruins.... they loved it.  The there was a guy from one of the local TV stations came and filmed the girls dancing, and interviewed us in English and Norwegian.  I felt very patriotic speaking about New Zealand and the plight of the people of Christchurch, it was quite an emotional moment.

In the afternoon I got to and look at the shops...so many to see..will have to go back :)
