Hmmm.... Look what I found...lol

Well well well, I guess I failed miserably at keeping up with my family holiday Blog..lol  I tried but our holiday was so awesome, we did so much.  I took over 2,000 photos and yep you guessed it they are still not in my scrap book yet.  I have started and have completed 5 pages.

It was one of the most amazing trips we went on.  As a family it was precious time we spent together.  A family trip is good for healing wounds.  Since coming back we have moved ever forward, and embrace life in a different light.  More appreciation is taken of each other and what each member is doing.

Once returning to NZ the Kids decided that they wanted to have a couple of calves to rear for the school Lamb and Calve day. It is a day the school appreciates the rural community in ways of art, craft and animal husbandry.  So...

We borrowed a couple of Jersey calves from a husbands work and they moved into our little farm block. For me being the city girl and no real farm background, this was the beginning of an ever changing journey.  Firstly I should mention that I have a fear of cows, cattle, steers...all of the above really.  The run after you and follow you everywhere, and I had visions of being trampled in a stampede something like the scene from the Lion King, when Simba looses his father.  I know....bit dramatic...over active imagination maybe hahaha
